Chemical bulb systems are intended for use on uncracked concrete substrates; they are available in galvanized steel and stainless steel qualities. They consist of a threaded rod or a threaded socket with installation depth mark and a glass mortar bulb.

The chemical bulb contains the reaction resin, a hardener and a quartz granulate of a determined composition.

A glass bulb must be used for each fixing point.

The quantity of mortar is calculated so as to overflow an excess of mortar as soon as the recommended laying depth is reached.

The overflow signals the completion of the sealing operation of the threaded rod and makes it possible to check that it is working properly.
